Assessment of Equality and Diversity and way forward

The Equality and Diversity Leads across the District have engaged with the Bradford and Airedale NHS Equality Group to join 4 EDS panels. Their views were elicited to act as a critical friend in considering, evaluating and moderating the information presented on the Equality and Diversity performance of each Trust using the EDS framework

The four EDS outcomes listed below provide evidence for each trust about how each Trust is performing in respect of:

• Better health outcomes for all ,

• Improved patient access and experience ,

• Empowered, engaged and well supported staff

• Inclusive leadership at all levels
