Governor information
Interested in becoming a governor?
All members can stand for election to represent the area they live in. We have divided the areas into ‘constituencies’ based on your postcode, similar to what happens in a local council election.

The role of the Council of Governors
We want our Council of Governors to have a real and substantial role, creating relationships between us and the community we serve.
The council role includes:
- advising our Board of Directors on decisions about the strategic direction of the trust in ways consistent with the needs of members and the wider community;
- representing the trust’s views to the membership; and
- ensuring the trust complies with the terms of authorisation as a Foundation Trust;
