LINKs

There is a Local Involvement Network (LINk) organisation in each area of the country.  LINKs are independent of the NHS and Social Care services. The purpose of all LINKs has been set out by Parliament, to let local people – as groups or as individuals – have their say about health and social care services. 

Trusts have a duty to respond to LINks in respect of requests for information and in response to any reports or recommendations made by a LINk.  There is also a duty for Trusts to allow authorised representatives of a LINk to enter Trust premises and view and observe any activities taking place.  Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is engaging with the three LINks that cover the Airedale NHS Foundation Trust boundary, in producing the Trust’s Annual Quality Account, which is published in June of each year.

The three LINks that are within the Airedale NHS Foundation Trust boundary are Bradford; North Yorkshire; and East Lancashire.  Contact details for each are as follows:
