9th May 2011 - Local people to vote for council of governors

Members of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust have just one week left to vote for their Council of Governors.

Voting packs have been sent to the hospital’s Foundation Trust members in Keighley East, and South and West Craven as more than one candidate has put themselves forward to represent these constituencies as a Governor.

Members living in Keighley East, which includes Riddlesden, Morton, Worth Village, Hainworth and Parkwood; South Craven, including Aire Valley, Lothersdale, Cowling, Glusburn and Sutton in Craven; and West Craven, which includes Coates, Craven and Earby, will receive voting packs in the post at their home address.

They have until 12 noon on Friday 20 May to vote for their Governor candidate and return their voting paper, in the prepaid envelope provided, to the independent election organisers, Opt2vote.

The election results will be declared on 24 May and published on the Trust’s website - http://www.airedale-trust.nhs.uk/FT/elections.html

Members in other constituencies will not be sent voting packs as candidates were either the only member to stand for nomination as a Governor and were automatically elected to the Council or were not up for re-election this time.
