Our accommodation and facilities

The Private Patient Unit (Ward 19) has 11 spacious rooms all of which are en-suite with a bath and/or shower, flat screen television, telephone and nurse call system.

Ward 19 also has an assisted bathroom and a shower room with disabled access for less mobile patients.

Fax facilities are available on the ward.
Ward 19 has a comfortable lounge leading through patio doors to a private garden and patio area for patients and visitors.

Ward 19 has extended visiting times (click here for further details) and an extended choice of food available from our menu.

As a Private Patient you will be under the direct care of your consultant whilst having medical cover on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.

Private Patients at Airedale have access to all the clinical facilities you would expect from an acute hospital on site.  These include:

• Radiology Services (X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI)
• Pathology Services
• Operating Theatres
• Intensive and High Dependency Care
• Cardio-respiratory Services
• Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nutrition & Dietetic Services
