If you want to be a volunteer

Some paid staff also work as volunteers but the work they do is different from the work they carry out as an employee. For example, a secretary may arrange flowers for the weekend chapel services in her own time.

At the moment we only have a very limited number of volunteering vacancies. Please ring the Voluntary Services Department on 01535 294624 or 295316 to discuss availability and only fill in the application forms below if we confirm we have a vacancy for you. If you would like to be a volunteer, you may download the appropriate forms and send them to the Voluntary Services Department when you have completed them.

Introduction to application forms

The application forms you will need to complete are:

• Application for Registration
• Data protection form
• Volunteer application (Declaration)
• Ethnic origin form

The first three forms must be completed and returned to the Voluntary Services Department. We cannot process an application without all three. The ethnic origin form is optional.
