Airedale NHS Foundation Trust reviewed its Disciplinary Policy in 2020, as part of our improving people practices work, in line with our People Strategy.

 The Disciplinary Policy places our colleagues at the heart of decision making and by using the Just Culture Guide we will be able to consider the additional support required before progressing to any formal stages of the disciplinary policy. This has been developed in partnership with our Trade union colleagues, who are fully supportive of this approach. The Trust will continue to develop and improve our people practices as well as reflect and challenge ourselves to improve transparency, fairness and colleague engagement.
