20 September 2016 – Airedale maternity services sign up for wellbeing charter

Maternity services at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust have signed the Royal College of Midwives’ (RCM) Caring for You Charter. The Charter is part of the RCM’s Caring for You campaign. This aims to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of midwives, so they are able to continue providing the highest levels of maternity care for women and their families. The trust will be working with The Royal College of Midwives (RCM) to improve the support available for midwives and maternity colleagues.

9 September 2016 – Midwives call for public to help shape services

Midwives from Airedale Hospital are inviting people to join them for a special event to help redesign the midwifery service.

The Community Midwifery team is asking parents-to-be or anyone who has used midwifery services at any hospital or out in the community to come along to a special design event at Airedale Hospital on 23 September.
