Darts and dominoes at a local pub led to a generous donation to Airedale Hospital’s Stroke ward.
Customers of the Helwith Bridge Inn, near Horton-in-Ribblesdale helped to raise £1211 with a darts and dominoes night, after one of their regulars, Avril Palmer, was cared for by the team on the Stroke ward.Read more
The Outpatients car park at Airedale Hospital will be closed for a week from Sunday 19 February.
The car park – officially known as car park P1 – is the smaller of the two main patient and visitor car parks at the hospital, located near the Outpatients department. It will be closed for a week to allow essential works to be carried out as part of the installation of the new car parking barrier scheme. The big P3 West car park will remain open along with the parking spaces immediately in front of Outpatients.Read more
