Friends donate to Endoscopy Unit

The Endoscopy unit at Airedale Hospital has received a boost in the shape of three new state-of-the-art blood pressure monitors.

The monitors, which together cost £5,000, were donated by the hospital charity Friends of Airedale. The unit needed more blood pressure monitors to use with the increasing number of procedures they perform. Currently the unit sees 12,000 patients a year and uses the monitors to ensure that patients are safe after undergoing procedures.
