2nd April 2015 – Art display to brighten up hospital
A group of students will be displaying their work to raise money and brighten up the outpatient’s area at Airedale Hospital.
The students, all studying fine art at Craven College, will be holding a pop up exhibition in the outpatient’s area of the hospital on Wednesday 15 April between 11.00am and 2.00pm.
As well as displaying their art work, there will be art for sale on the day, with proceeds of the sales going to the charitable fund at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
The students, whose ages range from 21 to 63, are in the second year of their course and the event will help them experience the planning and delivering of an exhibition.
Bridget Tempest, art tutor at Craven College, said “We are really excited to share our exhibition ‘7-insights’ with the staff and patients at Airedale Hospital.
“The students are looking forward to meeting people who would like to come and see and discuss their work. There will be some beautiful cards and prints for sale.”
