Airedale Hospital and Community Charity launches new website
After lots of hard work and dedication, the team at Airedale
Hospital and Community Charity, in partnership with The Working Academy at the
University of Bradford, are pleased to announce the launch of their new
The charity team wanted to create a simple and easy to use website, a one stop place where fundraisers can find out all the ways they can support the hospital, which is also full of tips and advice they need to create their own fundraising campaign. It’s also a place to share all the amazing personal stories of people who have done challenges and raised funds for Airedale Charity.
There are some exciting new additions including a page about
the Airedale ‘School Supporter Club’ which details how schools can get involved
and support the charity by holding fundraising events and challenges. Airedale
Hospital and Community Charity has received lots of support from local schools,
such as St Anne’s Primary School in Keighley, and hopes to inspire more
children in the local community with the School Supporter Club.
The website also provides lots of practical information,
including the different ways you can donate to Airedale Hospital and Community
The ‘Our Stories’ section will be regularly updated and will
feature news items and announcements. It will contain stories about the Charity
and what it does; staff and people who benefit from the Charity’s work; and
members of the public who have fundraised and donated to the Charity. Recent
examples include: a donation of a mini Tesla to enhance the experience for
children coming for operations at Airedale; a member of the public walking the
Yorkshire Three Peaks for Airedale Hospital and Community Charity; and a state
of the art machine used for treating kidney stones that the Charity bought for
the hospital’s Urology department.
Jodie Hearnshaw, Charity Manager at Airedale Hospital and
Community Charity, says:
“We are delighted to bring you our new website that we hope will provide our communities with lots of information and good news about how their kindness supports our hospital. It is a place where we will celebrate our fundraisers and inspire more people to show their love for Airedale.”
celebrate the launch of their new website, the Airedale Hospital and Community
Charity team held an event on the hospital site where people could learn more
about the charity and the new website. They also used this event to supply all
members of staff at the Trust with a reusable water bottle with the charity
logo on, to help them stay hydrated while at work.
