What is your job?

Divisional Operations Director for urgent care and flow.

How did you get to where you are today? What made you decide to do what you do?

No idea what made me do it! I am a nurse by background and then an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. I am passionate about quality of care and developing people and services for people who need care.

What do you enjoy about your job and about working at Airedale/in the NHS?

I enjoy working with the wider team to offer the best quality care for everyone who needs it. I have found so many passionate and committed staff here which motivates me no end.

What else do you do outside of work? eg hobbies, caring responsibilities

Mum’s taxi, horse riding and socialising

What is your message to women considering a career in the NHS?

Come and join us, you will not find a more committed, passionate bunch of people from differing backgrounds who come together to plan person-centred care.
