Howard Civil Engineering, based in Leeds, have donated Easter eggs for children at Airedale hospital’s children’s ward over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The engineering firm will be working on the Hard Ings roadworks in Keighley for the next year, and wanted to give something back to the local community.

Abbie Harrop from Howard Civil Engineering, said “It’s nice to get involved with the local community before the work starts. We wanted to bring a smile to children’s faces this Easter.

“As we’re working in the area for just over a year, we’re hoping to do more to support the hospital in the coming months.”

The chocolate eggs were gratefully received by staff and children on the ward.
