Airedale Hospital is hosting an innovative allied health professional (AHP) recruitment evening and is offering AHPs the opportunity to walk away with a conditional job offer on the night.
Allied health professionals provide treatment and help rehabilitate adults and children who are ill, have disabilities or special needs to live life as fully as possible. They work alongside doctors and nurses to provide care for patients at hospital and in the community.
The event is taking place on Monday 26 March from 5.30pm until 8pm in the physio gym (location A10) at Airedale Hospital.
The event is open to registered, newly qualified and return to practice AHPs in the following areas;
– Occupational Therapy
– Speech & Language Therapy
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet senior members of the therapy teams, discuss the career opportunities available and have a look around the clinical areas. There will also be interviews carried out during the evening, allowing some people to walk away with a job offer.
Freya Sledding, therapy services manager, says “This open evening is a fabulous opportunity for students and potential employees from allied health professions to visit Airedale hospital, meet staff and learn about the variety of services we provide. We hope to share why we feel Airedale is a fantastic employer and great place to work.
“We will be advertising current vacancies, supporting AHPs who would like to return to practice and promoting our AHP bank. We will be interviewing for some posts on the night so please bring your CV! We hope the event will be an opportunity to network and meet with enthusiastic AHPs who want to join us and continue to provide the best patient-centred care to our local communities. We look forward to meeting you!”
