bmip-adMacmillan and Boots are working together to offer lots of new ways for people to access the cancer information and support they need.

100s of Boots pharmacists have been trained to offer cancer information and support in local stores across the UK.  In our area, you can find a Boots Macmillan Information Pharmacist in the following Boots stores:

  • Bingley: Main Street;
  • Colne: Market Street;
  • Ilkley: Brook Street;
  • Keighley: Airedale Centre;
  • Shipley: Market Square;
  • Skipton: High Street.

They can put you in touch with cancer information centres and support services in your local community, and tell you about wider Macmillan services.  The service they offer is free.

There are also trained Boots No7 Macmillan Beauty Advisers in some stores who can help you to manage the visible side effects of cancer.  They offer free, face to face advice about caring for your skin, hair and nails.

A free Macmillan DVD and support pack, Get active, feel good, is available in Boots stores.  This is a complete guide to becoming more active if you are living with or after cancer.  We can order a free copy for you if you get in touch.

On the Boots website, you can find out more in the Macmillan Cancer Support section.
