24th February 2014 – New Skype service from Macmillan
If you need to talk about cancer, Macmillan Cancer Support now has a new way for you to get in touch with someone who has been there.
Using Skype, Macmillan can connect you with someone who’s had personal experience of cancer. You can speak to them for free and in confidence.
Skype buddies are trained volunteers. They can help by talking with you about a range of issues, including:
- coping with diagnosis;
- treatment experiences;
- life after treatment;
- someone you care about;
- having a bad day;
- losing someone dear to you.
