There are two main car parks at the hospital. Car park P3 (formerly the West Car Park) can be accessed by turning left at the top of the drive/ main entrance. Car park P1 (Outpatients) can be accessed by turning right at the top of the drive/ main entrance.

Please note that you may not be able to drive after certain treatments – if in doubt please ask.
Please park in a considerate manner; ambulances and buses need clear access to the hospital. If you need help finding a space to park please talk to one of our car parking attendants who will try to help you.
At the back of the site (north side) an anti-clockwise one-way system applies. There is no patient parking at the back of the hospital.
Parking for disabled people
Spaces for disabled badge holders are available at the following locations to the hospital:
- Follow signs for car park P3 then disabled parking
- Building 17 entrance
- Entrance zone A
- Entrance zone D
A reduced price concessionary permit is obtainable for relatives of patients who are likely to be in hospital for stays of longer than a week. Forms are available from the ward or by clicking the link below. The completed form should be signed by the ward manager/senior nurse and taken to the car park kiosk in car park P3 of the hospital. The price of these permits is £15.00 per week and they are issued for a maximum of 7 days.Concessionary visitors permit form
The opening times for the kiosk are: Monday to Friday, 08.00am to 9.00am and 14.00pm to 15.00pm
(The kiosk is closed Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays).
Exemption permits are also available for visitors to the Intensive Care Unit and Special Care Baby Unit.
If you are attending the Richardson Clinic or HODU on a regular basis, you can also obtain monthly permits at the rate of £9.00 per month. If you are a cancer patient attending these areas and need a parking permit, you are able to retrieve your permit by taking your appointment letter straight to the car park kiosk (you do not need to go to the ward beforehand).
If you plan on cycling to Airedale Hospital, there is a cycle rack outside the Emergency Department for both patients and visitors to use. In the interest of security please make sure your cycle is locked when you leave it.
There are dedicated parking spaces for motorbikes in car park P3.
