Help us to celebrate 70 years of the NHS

We are delighted to be celebrating the NHS’s 70th birthday this summer, on 5 July.

Nationally there are all sorts of celebrations taking place, ranging from awards ceremonies to a major NHS history project, the new NHS 10p coin and the NHS Big7Tea.  You can find out more on the NHS70 website www.nhs70.nhs.uk

Locally we are of course also celebrating in our own inimitable Airedale style and we need your help!  Please get involved with any or all of the projects below.

70 words

We are collecting 70-word stories and poems about people’s experience of the NHS at Airedale, which we will then bring together in a book.  If you’d like to share your experience, please write no more than 70 words and send it to communications@anhst.nhs.uk or by post to the Communications Team, Ward 12 (A27), Airedale Hospital, Skipton Road, Steeton, BD20 7EW.
