Paying for childcare
Payment for childcare can be taken directly from your salary if you are employed by Airedale NHS Foundation trust, or invoiced to you if you are not
There are a number of different ways in which we can help you save money on your childcare which are explained below:
Salary sacrifice scheme
Parents who use Nightingales day Nursery and are employed by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust are able to commit part of their salary to pay for childcare, which is then non-taxable
The trust also offers a salary sacrifice scheme through Edenred Childcare vouchers to all staff who are parents of children ages between 0-15 years (16 if disabled) and who use any Ofsted registered childcare. Nightingales also accept electronic vouchers from other providers. For more information and FAQs please click here.
Nursery education grant
From the school term following their third birthday, children are eligible to receive up to 15 hours per week state funded nursery education (maximum of 570 hours per year.)
