Child Development Centre
The Airedale Child Development Centre has a specialist team who work with children with a range of developmental difficulties. We aim to support the child and their family throughout their assessment and treatment process. The assessment may include diagnosis and investigation.
The team provides evidence-based care that responds to the needs of children, and young people up to the age of 19 who experience issues with Health, behaviour, Movement, Co-ordination, Pain, Communication or swallowing difficulties.
The team works in partnership with these clients, and their families, other agencies and professionals to reduce the impact of these difficulties on the clients well-being and ability to participate in daily life.
We aim to:

assess, diagnose, design and deliver care packages to children, young people and adults with concerns with movement control and/or pain.

maximise the clients potential

provide individual treatment plans based on child’s needs. To provide appropriate information and referral on to other professionals as required
