Feedback we received about the outline design of our new hospital

On 4 June 2026, we unveiled the outline design for our new hospital and invited patients, staff, local communities and stakeholders to share their views through our pre-planning consultation. The consultation ran until 24 July 2026 and provided an important opportunity for people to help shape the future of healthcare in our region.

Throughout the consultation period, we listened to feedback from a wide range of people through residents’ drop-in sessions, community roadshows and events, street surveys, onsite exhibitions at Airedale Hospital, and an online survey. These activities helped us to understand what matters most to the communities we serve and ensure that local voices were reflected in the development of our plans.

The feedback received will help inform the next stages of the project as we continue to develop plans for our new hospital.
