Plans to get our site ready

At the end of 2024, we shared our early plans for key work needed before we can build our new hospital with patients, local communities and staff. These plans were specifically for a new multi-storey car park, access road and substation, and included information about relocating the nursery to another part of the hospital site.

We were keen to hear your feedback and views about these plans and we did this through:

• An exhibition of the plans at the hospital

• A face-to-face event with local residents

• A community roadshow

• An online survey

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views, we had a great response, with 357 people taking part in the survey and many local people attending the roadshows and exhibition.

All the feedback has now been independently analysed and you can read the report below.

We are looking at any actions that may need to be addressed before the plans are finalised. Once the plans are complete the Trust will submit a planning application to Bradford Council, which will give residents another chance to share their comments and feedback.

During the summer of 2024, we asked people about their views on what the new car park should look and feel like to make it as user friendly for everyone as possible. We are very grateful to everyone who responded: all the feedback we received was analysed independently and you can read the report below to see what people told us.

Once the design is complete, the Trust will submit a planning application to Bradford Council, which will give residents another chance to share their comments and feedback.
