Securing the Future: The Nursery
The Nursery
There is currently a nursery on the hospital site and we are in the early stages of developing plans for moving the building. This is because the current nursery is in the area where the new hospital needs to be built. We are proposing to build the new nursery on the site of the staff car park in the north-east corner of the hospital site.
Once we have done some more work on our plans for the nursery and know more, we will share these plans with you.
Frequently Asked Questions
What will the access be for drop off/pick-up at the new nursery and how many parking spaces will there be?
There will be access for drop off and pick-up – the number of spaces is still to be confirmed.
What outdoor spaces will there be at the new nursery? Can there be a sensory garden?
There will be a sensory space inside the nursery and an outdoor garden but a sensory garden is not planned.
What will the noise levels from the nursery be like?
