The Trust has partnered with online service DrDoctor to help you keep on top of your outpatient appointments without the need of paper letters.

Since 2021, digital appointment letters have gone live across all our outpatient specialties through DrDoctor.

From 4 August 2025, we are making it even easier for you to have an overview of your upcoming appointments by introducing SMS notifications and reminders for upcoming appointments.

You will now receive a text message (SMS) from DrDoctor when an outpatient appointment has been booked. A reminder will also be sent to you 72 hours before the appointment.

These messages will also give you access to your own patient portal which lets you know the time, date and location of your appointment as well as the format (e.g. face to face or telephone).

If you receive a text message from the mobile number +447860039092 or 07860039092, please be assured that this is a legitimate message from the DrDoctor service and not a scam.
