Meet Natasha, an intern from Keighley College

Posted on January 31, 2019 by AireAdmin

Hello my name is Natasha Nas.

I have Cerebral Palsy and I am a wheelchair user. I was 12 weeks premature and I was born at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

I am an intern from Keighley College, and I’m currently working at Airedale General Hospital in two areas; Human Resources and Mobility Services. I am on the supported internship at Airedale Hospital to gain experience and employment.

My experience whilst I have been at Airedale Hospital has been a happy and nervous experience. The reason I had a nervous feeling is because I didn’t know what to expect and I had been in previous employment and had 12 months out. The reason I had a happy experience at Airedale Hospital is because I have enjoyed working in a new area which I have never worked in before and I find it interesting and different.

The things I find difficult whilst I am working at Airedale Hospital are my mobility issues also problems with physical issues, tasks and objects used whilst I work at the hospital. I have liked meeting new people and working with my colleagues and working on my admin skills.
