The Society of Radiographers has announced that radiographers in England will take industrial action for two days this month.
This action will affect Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and will last for 48 hours, from 8am on Tuesday 25 July until 8am Thursday 27 July.
Radiographers perform X-rays and scans to aid diagnosis of illnesses or injuries and may assist in treatment. They are part of a wider group of healthcare scientists, therapists and other professions called Allied Health Professionals.
The industrial action will cause a shortage of radiographers and may affect certain types of scans and x-rays that need a radiographer to take them.
