We are inviting local people to play an active role in shaping the plans for our new hospital with the launch of a new Community Panel.
This is an exciting opportunity for members of the public—including patients, carers, and local residents —to help ensure that the new hospital reflects the needs and priorities of the communities it will serve.
We are looking to recruit 25 panel members from different areas to reflect the diversity of Airedale’s communities. Members will act as a sounding board for key decisions relating to the hospital redevelopment and draw on their lived experience and local knowledge to help to ensure the design of the hospital promotes health equity and inclusivity.
This will include reviewing engagement activities and assuring how feedback from these is used to inform the design. Meetings will be held every six to eight weeks and members will be offered payment for their time, in line with national NHS guidance.
Anyone interested in joining the panel is asked to fill in an Expression of Interest form to be considered. The deadline for expressions of interest is Saturday 4 October
