Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is encouraging people to join as a member, at a very important time as the trust’s plans are well underway for the new hospital.

If you have an interest in healthcare in your area and would like to find out more about the work of your local hospital, becoming a member of the Airedale NHS Foundation Trust could be ideal for you.

Membership is free and is open to everyone aged 14 or above, living in the community that the Trust serves.

Members receive updates from Governors and as a member you can vote for others to represent you on the Trust’s Council of Governors, or stand for election yourself.

Linda Dobson, Lead Governor and Governor for Keighley Central/East said:

“It’s an exciting time to be involved as the NHS 10 year plan is put into action and more community-based healthcare is on the agenda.”

At the same time the Trust is moving ahead with plans for the new hospital, which offers a real opportunity to contribute to ensuring the right healthcare is provided for our communities, for now and in the future.”
