Previous experience
Andrew has experience in a range of different sectors having started his career with HSBC. Andrew was the Chief Finance Officer at Irwin Mitchell, Solicitors, a national full service law firm, having formerly worked as Group Finance Director at Dart Group plc (owners of Jet2.com) and as Director of Finance at Bradford & Bingley plc. He has also sat on the Board of Incommunities, a Bradford-based social housing provider, where he chaired the Audit Committee.
In June 2019, having retired from full-time roles, he joined the Board of Yorkshire Water, a position he still holds, and where he is Chair of the Audit Committee. Andrew is also Senior Independent Director, Vice Chair and Chair of the Audit Committee at Market Harborough Building Society.
