All patients diagnosed with gynaecological cancer are discussed at a multi-disciplinary team meeting. This is where a group of doctors and other health professionals involved in your care and treatment discuss and decide together the best treatment options for you.
A team of specialist staff provides support to patients diagnosed with gynaecological cancers before, during and after treatment.
We also work closely with Leeds Teaching Hospitals. If you are required to have complex gynaecology surgery you will be transferred here.
We run a number of rapid access clinics for patients with a suspecting gynaecological cancer, including a Post-menopausal bleeding clinic and a Colposcopy clinic.
