The Airedale children’s and young persons diabetes team look after all children and young adults up to the age of 18 years with type 1 and type 2 diabetes within the catchment area of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.

The team consists of doctors, specialist nurses, dietitians , a psychologist and a team administrator.

We support patients and their families with all aspects of their diabetes management both whilst in hospital following initial diagnosis and then following discharge within the community .

Our aim is to educate and support you and your family to  manage  diabetes within your every day life .
