I began my healthcare career in 2003 at Burnley General Hospital working as a Health Care Assistant on an Orthopaedic Trauma ward before embarking on a Nursing with Registered Nurse (Adult) BSc (Hons) Training programme at the University of Central Lancashire.

Having qualified in 2007 I worked as a Critical Care Nurse at

Royal Blackburn Hospital gaining valuable experience and knowledge in the care of acutely unwell patients requiring intensive care, I progressed onto a post as Junior Sister within the team.

In 2017 I was successful in securing a post as a Senior Community Nurse with Airedale Collaborative Care Team providing clinical care and support to people in crisis within their own homes, covering Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven with the  team base at Airedale General Hospital.

In 2018 I was appointed Team Leader of Airedale Collaborative Care Team where my role now focusses on managing a multidisciplinary team and service development, I can be found in Building 2 at Airedale General Hospital.
