Nurses and Midwives
Point of contact at the hospital
David Haston has worked at Airedale for over 20 years. During this time, he has developed contacts with a number of different people, both within his working role as charge nurse in theatres and via the social connections and friendships he has developed. He works alongside nurses from many wards, accident and emergency, endoscopy, health care support workers and other allied professionals. David feels that it is of the utmost importance that the nurses, midwives and other allied healthcare professionals working within the Trust have a voice and that that voice comes from a representative who is actually working on the shop floor and able to see and hear first-hand the issues affecting their ability to deliver the level of care they feel is right.
