Colposcopy
A colposcopy is a procedure which involves examining the surface of the cervix with the aid of a magnifying instrument called a colposcope. Colposcopy at Airedale Hospital is carried out by Mr M Houda (Consultant & Lead Colposcopist) Mr S Porter (Consultant), and Dr C Corrine (Specialist doctor).
Infertility / Reproductive Endocrinology
Infertility and reproductive endocrinology looks at infertility issues as well as addressing hormonal function in reproduction. Our clinic is run by Ms S Bhuiya (Consultant & Clinical Lead), Mr S Nallapeta and Dr K Graham (Consultant)
Menstrual Disorders and Outpatient Hysteroscopy
A hysteroscopy is a procedure used to examine the inside of the uterus (womb). It is carried out using a hysteroscope, which is a narrow tube with a telescope at the end. It can be used to help diagnose and treat menstrual disorders. This clinic is run by Ms J Siddiqui (Consultant), Mr M Houda (Consultant) and Mr S Porter
Post Menopausal Bleeding and Outpatient Hysteroscopy
This clinic investigates women who present with bleeding after the menopause. A pelvic ultrasound and hysteroscopy are performed on the same day which enables a speedy diagnosis to be made. The clinic is run by Mr S Porter (Consultant), Mr F Odida (Associate Specialist) and Ms J Siddiqui (Consultant)
Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Disorder
Our urogynaecology service includes care for continence, prolapse and pelvic floor disorders. Run by Mr Mr J Daniels (Urogyneacologist).
Fast track referral for suspected Gynaecological Cancer
We provide a fast track referral service for suspected Gynaecological Cancer; your GP will refer you for this if required.
