How to contact a midwife for URGENT advice

If you need to speak to a midwife urgently, please contact the Maternity Assessment Centre on 01535 292120 or 01535 292410 (Opening hours are Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 7.00pm).  

For any urgent concerns outside opening hours (or if the telephone in the Maternity Assessment Centre is not answered) please contact the labour ward on 01535 292402 and a midwife will be happy to help you.

For all other advice

If you have a general query about any aspect of your care please contact your community midwife. You will be given contact details early in your pregnancy. Please allow a few days for them to respond as not all midwives work full time and they cannot respond to you whilst they are providing care for others.
