I started my career in the NHS when I qualified as a nurse in 1987 and worked as a nurse for 12 years in medicine surgery paediatrics and primarily in gynaecology. I previously worked at Birch Hill Hospital Rochdale Infirmary and Pennine Acute Hospital in Oldham. I qualified as a midwife in 2000 and was formerly the Labour Ward Coordinator and Labour Ward Matron.
I came to Airedale in 2019 for a new challenge and am very much enjoying my time here and learning about Yorkshire! I’m passionate about women receiving excellent maternity care and having positively memorable experiences during labour and birth. I love the family feel of Airedale’s maternity unit and enjoying new challenges.
