Qualifications
BA degree (first class) in Law and Accounting, a Masters (with Merit) in Digital Health Leadership and a Doctorate in Medical Law and Bioethics. Cabinet Office Major Projects Leadership Academy and a Fellow of the British Computing Society.
Background / Profile
Paul joined the Trust in January 2021 from the position as Regional Director of Digital Transformation for NHS England and NHS Improvement in the North East and Yorkshire. He has been the Senior Responsible Owner for substantial national digital transformation programmes concerned with hospital care, mental health, primary care, maternal and child health and diagnostics. Paul was formerly the director of the Long-Term Conditions programme in Yorkshire and Humber with a focus on Telehealth. He has been a Primary Care Trust director, a transformation director in the NHS Modernisation Agency and a policy lead in the Department of Health.
