Point of contact at the hospital
I am the lead clinical pharmacist at Airedale, a post I have held substantively since August 2021.
I am responsible for the safety and effectiveness of the Clinical Pharmacy Service as well as leading and managing new initiatives.
I have worked at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust since 2015, starting as a Junior Pharmacist after qualifying from the University of Bradford.
During my Clinical Diploma, I became a Clinical Pharmacist where I developed a more specialist role in surgery and parenteral nutrition, as well as working as clinical lead on an EPMA medicines optimisation project.
I then became the Senior Pharmacist for Surgical Services and Critical Care, where I also completed my independent prescribing qualification.
I have continued to specialise clinically in Critical Care, an area in which I am very passionate about.
I am very grateful to have been able to progress my career at Airedale in such a supportive, compassionate and friendly culture. It is a privilege to lead and work with such dedicated people.
