Appointed on 1 June 2019, Rhys has extensive executive experience in technology and change across the commercial, higher education, research, leisure and health sectors. Rhys’ previous roles include Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Queen Mary University, Interim CIO at St Mary’s University, Non-Executive Chairman at YHMAN Ltd, Director of Information Technology at University of Leeds, Group Director of Information Services at William Hill and IT Director at Wm Morrison Supermarkets. Prior to these leadership roles he gained extensive supermarket and supply chain experience at Asda and Tesco.
