Background / Profile

Stacey is a specialist shoulder physiotherapist and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner (APP).

Stacey qualified from Leeds Metropolitan university in 2005 with a degree in physiotherapy.  She completed a Post-Graduate master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2015 and is an independent prescriber and injection therapist.

Stacey is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the Health Care Professions Council (PH76157), the British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS) and the North and West Yorkshire Shoulder and Elbow Society.

Stacey has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy since 2007 and currently works closely with the upper limb orthopaedic consultants, this includes ordering imaging, directly listing patients for surgery, and delivering corticosteroid injections, as well as post-operative care.

Stacey is currently completing a National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) academic fellowship and sits on the Research Committee for BESS.  Stacey also works as a visiting lecturer and examiner at The University of Leeds and the University of Bradford.
