Laura is an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner, qualifying as a physiotherapist in 2007. She has significant experience across the healthcare sector and across multiple NHS Trusts. Laura has lead clinical pathways and teams, with a strong focus on excellent patient care and service improvement.

Laura says the reason she wanted to become a Staff Governor is that the role allows her to step beyond day‑to‑day clinical work and gain a broader understanding of the Trust’s strategic, financial and regulatory landscape, while ensuring colleagues have a strong and meaningful voice
