
45 children took part in a ceremony to commemorate their graduation from Nightingales Day Nursery at Airedale Hospital.
The children were invited by special appointment to attend nursery with their parents to be presented with their graduation cap and gown, celebrate and receive some gifts to commemorate their time at nursery and mark the important milestone of moving up to primary school.
The graduation ceremonies took place on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 August.
Vicky Yates, Childcare Provision Manager at Nightingales Day Nursery said:
“It was a lovely day, filled with lots of happy tears and laughter as the children and parents looked back on their time at Nightingales.”
The theme for the day was:
Behind you, all your memories
Before you, all your dreams
Around you, all who love you
Within you, all you need
Nightingales Day Nursery is an onsite nursery which can be used by parents, grandparents and other family members working at Airedale Hospital.
The nursery cares for babies from 10 weeks old to school age, from 7am to 7pm, 5 days a week and is rated Good at Ofsted.
